Golem is a long sandy beach in the Kavajë area, forming the southern continuation of the Durrës coastline on the Adriatic. Backed by pine trees and a dense strip of hotels and resorts, it has shallow, gently sloping water well suited to families. Its easy access from Tirana and Durrës makes it one of central Albania's busiest summer beaches.
