Vast green park around the artificial lake

Tirana, Albania

About

The Grand Park is Tirana's principal green space, with over 1.5 million square meters of landscaped grounds wrapped around a 450,000-square-meter artificial lake in the city's southern sector. Locals come to jog, row boats, picnic and escape the urban bustle. Pathways, cafes and the lakeside church of St. Procopius dot the grounds.
