Karaburun Peninsula

Wild peninsula of caves and hidden bays

Vlorë, Vlorë County

About

Karaburun is a rugged, largely uninhabited peninsula separating the Bay of Vlorë from the open Ionian Sea, part of Albania's first marine national park with Sazan Island. Its steep limestone coast hides sea caves, secluded bays such as Grama and Saint Andrew, and clear deep water rich in marine life. It is reached almost exclusively by boat from Vlorë or Orikum.
