About

Part of the Mali me Gropa–Bizë–Martanesh nature park about 55 km from Tirana, this region centres on the wide Biza meadow at around 1,200 metres. From December to February it is reliably blanketed in snow, with silent forests and peaks rising to about 1,850 metres. It is a favourite for snow hiking, photography and non-commercial free skiing.
