About

The Skrapar region, below Mount Tomorr, is renowned as Albania's finest producer of grape raki (brandy). Villages such as Zabërzan, Muzhakë and Vendreshë distil it from sun-ripened grapes using centuries-old techniques and traditional copper stills. Strong and aromatic, Skrapar raki is a point of regional pride and a staple of Albanian hospitality.
